HashKey Exchange Client Bank Account Guidelines:
HashKey does not support the following types of bank accounts:
1. Accounts from any banks in any sanction lists which are generally banned by banks in Hong Kong
2. Accounts from banks in Mainland China
3. Accounts not for general use
4. Accounts not 100% owned by our clients
5. Accounts with holder names are different from the client's registered name on our platform
6. Accounts with restricted incoming and outgoing transfers
7. Bank credit card accounts
Fiat Withdrawal Guidelines:
1. Whitelisted Accounts Only: We only support fiat withdrawals to whitelisted bank accounts. These are the same accounts used by clients to complete their first 10,000 HKD equivalent online account opening deposits.
2. Supported Currencies: We currently only support HKD and USD withdrawals.
3. Processing Time: While we accept withdrawal requests 24/7, the arrival time depends on the combined processing time of both our bank and the client's bank.
a. For HKD withdrawals to banks in Hong Kong with an amount less than 1 million HKD, most (not all) of them could be processed within seconds 24/7.
b. For HKD withdrawals to banks in Hong Kong with an amount equal to or more than 1 million HKD, most (not all) of them could be processed within seconds during Hong Kong bank business hours.
c. For USD withdrawals to banks in Hong Kong with any amount, most (not all) of them could be processed within 1 to 3 hours during Hong Kong bank business hours.
d. For USD withdrawals to oversee banks (outside Hong Kong) with any amount, most (not all) of them could be processed within one to two business days.
Note: Hong Kong bank business hours are 9am to 5pm (HK Time) from Monday to Friday excluding public holidays.
Client Reminders:
We advise our clients to verify with their banks that:
1. The bank account is a general-purpose account
2. The account allows unrestricted incoming and outgoing transfers
3. There are no special restrictions or limitations on the account
Please note that some banks in Hong Kong allow direct transfers from the savings accounts (e.g. fixed deposit accounts) to other accounts, but those savings accounts may not support incoming transfers from external accounts. Please check if your bank has the relevant restrictions, as otherwise your fiat withdrawal order may fail.
If you encounter such situation, you will need to whitelist a new bank account that is not subject to the transfer-in restriction, in order to successfully complete the withdrawal.
