Marketplace is the OTC block-trading service offered by HashKey Exchange. The system aggregates all-inclusive quotes (which cover every trading cost at a single price) from multiple liquidity providers in real time. You can confirm a trade within the quote’s validity window and choose between Instant settlement and Delayed settlement.
Single-trade sizes start from as little as 10 USD and go up to 10,000,000 USD. The Marketplace is available to institutional investors, high-net-worth clients, and retail clients alike, with common use cases including large-scale asset allocation and quarter- or month-end settlement.
The steps below cover the web version.
Step 0: Log in to your account
In the top navigation, click Trade, then select OTC (the dedicated large-order service) from the expanded menu to enter the Marketplace page.
Step 1: Enter the Marketplace page and transfer assets to Brokerage account
In the top navigation, click Trade, then select OTC (the dedicated large-order service) from the expanded menu to enter the Marketplace page.
Before trading, transfer your assets into your Brokerage account. Below the "Amount paid" field you will see your "Brokerage account balance"; click the purple plus (⊕) icon to its right to open the Transfer dialog.
In the Transfer dialog ("Internal transfers are free of charge"):
- Set the direction to From: Funding → To: Brokerage.
- Select the Currency.
- Enter the Quantity or click "All" to fill in your full available balance.
- Click "Confirm" to complete the transfer.
Step 2: Select the currencies and enter the pay amount
Choose the currencies in the From and To fields; click the ⇄ button in the middle to quickly swap the buy/sell direction.
Enter the trade amount in the "Amount paid" field or click "All" to fill in your full available balance.
Note the trading limit range shown inside the input field (e.g. 10.00610556 – 10,006,105.56905995 USDT); amounts outside this range cannot be submitted for a quote and can be split into multiple orders. The limit changes dynamically with market conditions and liquidity, so always refer to what's shown on the page.
Step 3: Choose a settlement method
- Instant settlement (default): Assets are settled on the same day, with delivery possible in seconds.
- Delayed Settlement: Settlement takes place anywhere from T+0 to T+2, suitable for quarter- or month-end settlement.
Step 4: Click "Submit Quote"
After entering a quantity, the button at the bottom becomes active. Click "Submit Quote" to submit your inquiry.
Step 5: Wait for a quote and accept it
· Orders equivalent to 10 USD – 1,000,000 USD
After submitting, the system automatically sends inquiries to liquidity providers, and quotes appear in the "Inquiry Record" panel on the right side of the page. This tab can be filtered by Pending Confirmation / Settling / Expired. Once a record's status changes to "Pending Confirmation", click "View Quote" at the bottom right of that record.
The "RFQ" dialog lists each provider's price and validity window; after checking the settlement method, pay/receive amounts, and the overall validity window, select a provider and click "Accept Quote" at the bottom right to execute the trade.
Once accepted, an order cannot be canceled or modified. Each quote has its own countdown; if it expires, please submit a new inquiry.
If no automatic quote can be obtained, you may cancel the inquiry yourself or submit a new one. For orders between 100,000 USD and 1,000,000 USD, the system automatically routes them to manual handling:
- During business hours (9:00–17:00 HKT): the status shows "Awaiting Quote", and a trader handles the manual order and provides a quote.
- Outside business hours: please wait for the trading desk to come online for further assistance.
· Orders equivalent to over 1,000,000 USD
No automatic quote is provided; the order must be handled manually by a trader from start to finish:
- Manual handling takes some time. After submitting an inquiry, please wait patiently for the trader's quote and confirm within the quote's validity window.
- Manual quoting is only available during business hours (9:00–17:00 HKT); orders cannot be submitted or processed outside these hours.
Once accepted, the order enters the settlement process; you can check its current status on the right under "Inquiry Record" → "Settling".
Step 6: Once settled, view your trade history on the "Transaction Details" page
After settlement completes, switch to the "Transaction Details" tab to view the full details of the trade. Every trade has a unique inquiry number and is fully traceable and auditable.
Notes
- Quotes are all-inclusive and already cover every trading cost, so there are no additional fees to calculate.
- Before trading, make sure your assets have been transferred to your Brokerage account; otherwise you cannot submit an inquiry. Internal transfers are free of charge.
- Each trade amount must fall within the limit range shown on the page, and the limit changes dynamically.
- Quotes have a validity window; if a quote expires you must submit a new inquiry, and the re-quoted price may differ from the previous one — always use the latest quote.
- Once an order is confirmed it is considered executed and cannot be canceled. Please double-check the currency, direction, amount, and settlement method before confirming.
- Under exceptional circumstances such as sharp market volatility, we reserve the right to cancel an order even after you have confirmed the price (last look).
- If a quote looks abnormal or an order status hasn't updated for a long time, please contact customer support.
