1. What is Foreign Exchange?

Foreign Exchange, also known as exchange, refers to the act of exchanging one fiat currency for another fiat currency. The foreign exchange (FX) services provided by this platform exist solely as an ancillary service and do not constitute the main business scope of the company.

 

2. What currencies does HashKey Exchange currently support for exchange?

HashKey Exchange currently supports currency exchange between USD/HKD, USD/CNH, USD/EUR, USD/SGD, USD/JPY, USD/AUD, HKD/CNH, HKD/EUR, HKD/SGD, HKD/JPY, HKD/AUD.

 

3. How long does it take for  Foreign Exchange ("FX") trades to settle ?

FX trades on HashKey are expected to be settled in 15-30 minutes,  subject to actual settlement time
 
 

4. What times does HashKey Exchange ("HashKey") offer FX trades service

HashKey's FX service hours vary by currency pair.
 
For the USD/HKD currency pair, HashKey provides 24/7 FX service. During non-banking hours, the available exchange amount for this pair is subject to HashKey's available liquidity and may therefore be lower than the available fiat balance in your HashKey fiat account. The final convertible amount will be displayed on the FX order submission page.
 
For all currency pairs other than USD/HKD, HashKey currently offers FX services on weekdays only. Please submit your FX trade instructions within the service hours listed in the table below. All times are in Hong Kong Time (HKT).

5. How is the fee charged for HashKey Exchange Foreign Exchange ?

The exchange rate quoted for the Services is based on prevailing market rates, which may include a HashKey Exchange fee of no more than 0.3%
 
 

6. Other Important Notes for Using HashKey Exchange ("HashKey") Foreign Exchange Service

  1. Only funds held in your Hashkey fiat account can be used for FX service. For the USD/HKD pair, the available conversion amount is also subject to HashKey's available liquidity. This means it may be lower than the available balance in your fiat account. The final convertible amount will be as shown on the FX order submission page.
  2. The rates displayed on the FX service page are for reference only. The actual rate fluctuates based on prevailing market rates. After clicking [Apply for Exchange], please reconfirm the currency, amount, and reference rate. If correct, please complete the [Confirm] step promptly, as the quoted rate may expire.
  3. The minimum selling amount per order is 100 USD or its equivalent in other currencies. The maximum selling amount per order is 10,000,000 USD or its equivalent in other currencies.
  4. Once your FX order is successfully completed, you will be notified via email and SMS.
