Dear HashKey Exchange users,
In order to improve the security of the HashKey Exchange platform and prevent others from impersonating our platform to send phishing SMS to our users or the public, HashKey Exchange will start using #HASHKEY as the new SMS Sender ID in Hong Kong starting from October 31, 2024. From then on, the official SMS Sender ID of HashKey Exchange to Hong Kong mobile numbers will be changed from the previous HashKey or HASHKEY to: #HASHKEY.
#HASHKEY is the SMS Sender ID recognized by the Office of the Communications Authority (HK OFCA). SMS Sender IDs starting with "#" have been registered with OFCA.
You can refer to the Short Message Service (SMS) Sender Registration Scheme webpage from the Office of the Communications Authority official website to find out the latest list of companies/organizations participating in the SMS Sender Registration Scheme and view our registration information in the "Other Sectors" document.
For mobile phone numbers of other regions, we will continue to use HashKey or HASHKEY as the Sender ID.
Once again, please note that we will not send links or ask you to provide personal information in the SMS. If you receive a suspicious text message, please do not click on the relevant links or provide any personal or sensitive information to the message sender. If necessary, please contact our customer service team for confirmation. If you have doubts about the authenticity of the link or channel from HashKey Exchange, you may also verify it through HashKey Official Channel Verification.
If you have any questions, please contact our customer service team at support@customer.hashkey.com, or click here to submit an inquiry online.
HashKey Exchange Team
